Lol sorry to laugh greenwayer, just twist and wiggle it in some more. The tube itself is just hard rubber so it too can flex. There's a tab on the sensor itself that should indicate that it's flush with the tube. That blue ring you see in the pic is the rubber gasket and that definitely should be pushed in further

Ok thanks guys I used some force and just pushed it in. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't gonna break anything before I did so because on the old box it just screws in. However I did snap the little plastic tab but I don't think its a big deal. Sounds great, I think the stupid supercharger like whine is gone, and it looks clean.

When I was at the dealer getting my ABS Wheel Speed Sensor yesterday, I ordered the part. I believe it was $4.16 and should be here in a couple of days, where I can pick it up at the dealer.

My dealer is absolutely aweful. When I told him I could get the oem part elsewhere 500% cheaper and asked ifnhe could lower his price at all the response was "thanks for calling"

Actually it came in already! I picked it up today and will be installing it tomorrow when I do some fluid changes.

What fluid changes are you doing? What mileage you at? I'm about to do my oil, trans and both diffs since I'm at almost 135,000 miles. I bought it at 95,649 miles in 2011 with supposedly every possible tuneup or maintenance item done to it before I bought it (got the records too) I've always changed the engine oil myself every 4-5,000 miles in my Hemi or any of my cars. Next is my transmission, I changed my fluid and filters at 108,000 miles but I've heard it's recommended every 30,000 miles after 100,000 miles on any car.

I don't suppose anyone would have a part number for that intake tube?

I don't, but I remember that it's pretty expensive if you want to buy it new. If I remember correctly, the consensus was that it was more cost effective to buy the Airaid tube if you wanted that route.

I thought Brando said he got it for 20 dollars from discountchryslerparts above.
