Straight piping 3.7l v6 thoughts?

So I got bad catalytic converter instead of just replacing the cats. I was thinking about just cutting them off and straight piping it & maybe throwing on a magnaflow magnapack on it. What are your thoughts on doing this or should I just put a new cat on? Lol

I'd be careful depending on where you live, some states take messing with cats pretty seriously. If you can, you'd be better off going with an aftermarket cat and v-banding it in if you really want to straight pipe it.

the 3.7 by design doesn't lend itself well to straight piping. take it from me, ive been thru over 8 setups on mine
