Re: Superchips, HEMI, wow.

I had one of these laying around and tried it on my 2010 5.7...can anyone verify if this thing is supported or not? Superchips' website is pretty bad.

They do support the 2010 5.7 HEMI I believe, check Amazon's website for support, they have a good list of vehicles supported for the 3875.

If your HEMI has really bad mileage even on the highway I would look into replacing EGR, PCV, Plugs, and clean Throttle Body. All those helped me out!
thanks Ill try this first.

ive got an 07 5.7 can anyone provide part #s for those (EGR, PCV and the plugs?) Also, can i do these myself if I'm somewhat mechanically inclined?

Crestwood1001 is an unknown quantity at this point
Re: Superchips, HEMI, wow.

EGR should be no problem, the hemi has 16 plugs so getting to some of them is tough but doable.

EG4 is a pain but doable. PFC is cake - 5 mins top. Plugs take forever but not hard.

Re: Superchips, HEMI, wow.

Just remove the pcv valve and shake it; if it rattles is is fine, and a waste of money to buy a new one. Clean it and make sure to install it with the hole facing forward.
Cleaning the TB and installing a catch can to keep it clean, made a big difference in drivability and mpg with mine. Plugs made virtually no difference at all when I installed them at the 30k mark. EGR at dealer is $120, and at any parts store is $39 for a new one. I logged 45 miles yesterday combined HWY and city was 22.5 with the hemi, with just an AFE II CAI and no tuner.
