Re: Throttle Body Rewire

Tried it on the cav4 wire for the ETC (-)... And that is definitely not right! When I started the engine it was idling at 1200 rpm as to the normal 600ish. Also the traction control 'off' light was lit as well as the battery warning...

Arabex is on a distinguished road
Re: Throttle Body Rewire

Did you check first what was your ground value with a volt meter? maybe that can give you an idea of what you may expect from each wire.

From the print that you show you may want to try and check if pin #2 is close to 5v, the you can check what's the ground value on pin #4 and you may check pin #1 and ask someone to help you to rev up the engine and see what is the value range that you get.

You don't need to unplug the harness plug, use some spoons and slide them to get the readings with a voltmeter...

I'll try to see if I can do that tomorrow on my 07 Hemi.

Cheers

Re: Throttle Body Rewire

You can try to tweak the throttle position sensor by drilling out the mounting holes slightly, but my gut tells me that will cause other issues.
