Top speed (2010 4x4 5.7 limited)?

Is it electronically limited? What is it? I am just curious.

If I remember correctly its 110MPH. It can be bumped up to much higher levels. I bumped mine to 255 but it will never get there. So mine don't have a limiter. But yeah it is 110MPH.

Is it for a special reason, say, driveline harmonics or 4x4 system constraints that it is so low?

How would one remove this without altering other parameters?

I have a hypertec max energy programer. I can if I wanted to, just up the limit without changing tunes. I can even recalibrate the truck for tires and gearing all without loading a tune. But I can load an 87 or 91 oct. Tune if I want.

Most likely you will need a programmer to do it. There is a few brands out there. Superchips I beleive starts around 250 and my hypertec was 465. There is also the diablo sport and bully dog but I dont know where they start price wise.

Meh. I just applied the brakes solidly on the way home. This vehicle should likely be kept under 110mph...I've sortof lost interest in this unless it's cheaper than buying a $350 tuner.
