Towing With GC Loredo 2014

So I just bought my 2014 Grand Cherokee Lordeo and a Trailer which weighs 4500lbs..No factory Tow Package on the Loredo. I'm putting a hitch on and want to get the vehicle up to its 6200lbs capacity..
So in regards to the Tow package options, other than hitch and wiring..

What would the Base Lordeo require to get to the Max capacity? I understand cooling is the key, but what more would I need? I called Jeep, to no avail..Pretty useless waste of time unfortunately and I will leave it at that. I then called a jeep dealer, he ran the Vin, and he said you SHOULD be ok to pull the Max capacity.
But I can't believe that all I would need is the class 4 hitch for this...

Transmission-is this already cooled throughhe rad? -I have aN electronic temp Gauge within the electronics..also..there is a small 24"x3 inch type rad, which appears to be a small auxiliary cooling aid for something?could this be for the tranny?
Cooling Fan-What makes this "Heavy Duty" with the Tow Group IV package?
Mine currently is the 7 Blade fan..
Alternator-Is this really necessary for the 220Amp?

I am buying a stabilizing hitch also,I will add..
Confused.......Thanks!!

To get to the max tow yes u would need class IV hitch, load leveling shocks, engine cooling. I doubt u need the 220 alt and I have mainly seen them on the diesels. That alone should get u much higher than the limit (3500)on non factory installed hitches. I would also use a Weight distribution system.

Re: Towing With GC Loredo 2014

Calling Jeep didn't get you any satisfaction because there is no official way to get a non-tow-package vehicle above the 3500lb tow limit.

You'll need at least a new radiator and cooling fan.. I don't know if there are any wiring changes that go along with the new fan (the HD fan draws a lot more current than the stock fan). The higher fan draw is part of the reason for the beefier alternator.

A weight-distributing hitch is required to tow 4500lb. but you probably already knew that..

Re: Towing With GC Loredo 2014

Appreciate the replys..So on the cooling fan.what would be involved in the Heavy duty cooling fan? I've search and found my exact fan on the mopar site, which stats cooling fan W/O heavy duty cooling system...Does this suggest there is an additional part to add or a complete whole new Fan?
and for the small "rad" which is 24"x3" on the Front of the rad and condenser....any ideas as to what this is?

And the more I search...The more I find. So yes, Cooling fan and new Rad would Be the ticket.
I've pulled my build sheet and see these as standard Duty, so yes, I'd need to beef these up..but have An engine oil cooler listed..can I assume this is standard? It does show on the Tow Group package IV option..
What about Tranny Cooler? on the Tow group package, there's no mention of this?
Thank all....
