Re: traction on or off??

Sounds like something you should experiment with - on a closed course while wearing proper protective equipment. Have fun!

Re: traction on or off??

I see youre still having fun with the new tune.

I would suggest try it off. Just punch it from a dig- dont try to powerbrake it.

Re: traction on or off??

the TM that comes into play with ESP is removed, so i wouldnt expect it to make much of a difference.

Re: traction on or off??

I hear alot of " hold the button for 5 sec or till it beeps, but my '05 doesent beep. I hold it for a long time and its the same as if i tap it..whats with that? Ive seen some box mentioned for lifted wk's,would that help on my lowered one? I stomped on it (after hitting button ) and it wigged out on me after it spun only a foot or 2 ( it was like15 deg) it needs to be cool for more then 2 feet!

The hold it for 5 seconds only works for the LX's (cars) it isn't available on the Jeeps.

Mine does on my 07. If I hold it for about 15 seconds it says "ESP off" That stays on the evic until I turn it back on.

you have to hold it that long to turn it off? i just push the button and it shuts off. if you push C/T that will clear the evic while keeping esp off

To really turn it "off" since it never fully is, ya gotta hold it till it literally says "ESP off." No matter how many times you reset the evic it'll go back to ESP off again. It's fun!!
