Tune Up Issue

Getting ready to do the 30K maintenance on our 2008, 4.7L Limited and cannot find Bosch Nickel Yttrium FR8TE2 spark plugs at any local parts stores.
Are these spark plugs only available from the Dealer?

Just realized the 08+ jeep 4.7L engines require a deep Thin wall 5/8" spark plug socket. Now where to we find one?

Check with them all. Including NAPA, Sears, AC Delco and others.
I give up. Guess I will need to get it online.
Why would Jeep make a engine that needs a special spark plug socket is beyond me.

Re: Tune Up Issue

Are you trying to use a " spark plug" socket like with the rubber hose in it ? Dont.just use a deep socket

X2. I thought we were still talkin about where to find the plugs, not the socket.

Re: Tune Up Issue

Finally got around to doing the Jeep Tune-up today. Basically was an easy job.
Major problem was removing the coil boots from the spark plugs. On the passenger side all four coils where stuck. Managed to save only one coil boot. What is the secret to removing stuck coils. One plugs I actually broke off the spark plug porcelain to remove the coil boot.
