Will try some of the other advanced features like torque management and shift points, anyone have any background on these?
where abouts are u from? 98 super fuel sounds cool lol

I would be carefull runnin it too far into the red. Im set about 550 rpm into it but i dont want more then that becuase of the possibility of valve float. That can lead to a broken valve spring and will destroy an engine

Lol. My 3.7 winds out to 6,250 but i rarely go past 6k. I start to feel the power come on at 3k and is it's strongest thru 5500

Agree that the engine shouldn't be pushed too far into the red, but then again why is there a red in the first place kinda like 'this amp goes up to 11!'. yea I noticed that it does not go over 500 RPM into the red, so should be ok on that setting (this is the canned tune from SC). I presume the manufacturer assume the daily driver wouldn't even push an engine into the higher RPM range anyways

I may tune down to the 91 Oct just to see the difference.

I'm based in Dubai, there is not a massive price difference between the 98 Super and what they call 95 'regular' here. full tank is about $32 for the WK 5.7L, so fuel eco is not as high on the priority list as elsewhere perhaps ..

Omg ahahaha I do work sometimes in oil fields in northern Alberta canada and gas is 1.25$ a litre so about 75$ to fill tank and that's 91 Octane . Occasionally I can find a 94oct but it's rare. Live in Vancouver though.. Dubai is insane I wanna check that place out at some point. Have my tb from fastman on its way just went over boarder from Chicago so might even get here tomorrow. Wondering if I should upgrade my tuner from superchips now

Oh cool, yea Dubai is an amazing place, but like everywhere the grass is always greener I have been to Toronto, Niagra and Blue Mountain (the wifey is Canadian).. Always wanted to visit VC, just seems so damn far from here! but then again I can be in Thailand in seven hours

yup, Fuel here is super cheap, but rent isn't, its like renting downtown TO or NY!

I never bothered changing the TB. but so far have been very impressed with SC tune, need to play more around with it when I get some downtime from work..
