Talking What next in my budget?

Hello, i am a new member to this forum but had owned jeeps for years. I am wondering how i can get the most bang for my buck while keeping my jeep as a decent daily driver. I have 05 wk 5.7l with K&N CAI, MBRP cat-back exhaust (installed this week). I am torn with what to do next. I have seen lots of posts about catch cans and how they are almost a necessity on the hemi. Also i have been thinking about getting a programmer. I dont know which programmer to get as i have heard good things about Diablo Sports and their canned tunes but i also have read great reviews on FlyinRyans Super Chips tunes. I have heard mixed reviews on Throttle bodies and how much benefit a new or ported one will bring. I do mostly around town driving with a little highway, and hardly ever go off-road, and have been able to get mpgs around 15.5 if i keep my foot out of it (this is before my MBRP kit ). Any advice or direction or personal experiences would be gladly appreciated. Thanks!!!!

I would do a programmer first so you can get rid of 4 cylinder mode then upload the 91 octane tune. Then i would do a throttle body, and your choice of cam.

Re: What next in my budget?

I would highly recommend flyinryan. I have been working with him the past few weeks for programming on my hemi and he has kept me informed on everything. as for the Throttle bodys , I just received the one for our 4.7 commander and was told the one for my 5.7 is on the way .

We have both a superchip ( for the commander ) and also a SCT ( which Ryan is programming now)

what is nice about this route is the program is for your specific jeep. not just a generic box tune

What do you mean by "catch can"?

The Original Catch Can | Billet Technology

That my friend is a catch can. These Hemis have a bad habit having excess oil getting dumped into your intake manifold via the PCV system Catch can acts as a filtration device and helps retain hp/torque etc over the life of the vehicle
