It can be done for sure. I just put Long Tube headers in my 2005 hemi with out pulling out the engine. Which side is it? Passenger or driver?

First and foremost PB blaster is your friend. Buy a can and dont be afraid to soak every bolt.

So it seems like your air box is over that side.. so that comes out and hopefully it exposes the heat shield bolts a little. If not then you have to make room by either removing stuff or disconnecting it. Those heat shield bolts snapped on me 3 out of the 8 total for both sides (4 each side). You will have to remove the inner fender liner to expose the back bolts.. the liner is hold in by a few rivets. The 2 bolts that connect the mid pipe to your header will have to be taken out form the bottom. Should have a locking metal on it so you don't need a wrench on the other end. It will turn till the metal piece stops it. My header bolts were 10mm and the heat shield stud bolts were 13 mm.. the nut that holds in the heat shield should be 10mm also.

Also might need to remove your belt and shrouding off the front to give you some more room.

Im working off pictures of the 4.7 engine off of Google.. only seen a 3.7 and hemis never the 4.7. Post some pictures after the air box is removed so i can see what else needs to be removed.

What long tube headers did you get to fit? Or did you modify the trans bellhousing?
