Re: WK/WH 4.7L - Max Energy Power Programmer - Part #52001

very late to this post, just stumbled accross it on research for a tunner. Anyway, the 47 hp gain is not the gain over peak horsepower. It instead represents the moment that the tune experiences the greatest contrast to the factory tune. In the attached (http://www.hypertech.com/Performance...er_4_7L_V8.pdf ), look at the 4800 rpm range. The stock tune (solid blue line) is at about 200 hp. The tune on premium fuel (Solid Green) at this same rpm is just shy of 250 hp. They are advertising this difference (ie 47 hp). +47HP @ 4850 RPM

In any event, I am looking for a tunner for my 08 4.7 (GenII). Any suggestions? What is available for this year?

I looked at both and definitely chose the SuperChips and love it!

You have not had any problems with the superchip? From what I could tell, they dont market this for our engines.

From last i heard, it works on all years and for 4.7, 5.7, and 6.1L.

I have one on my 06, and Looooooove it. Be sure to get the trans app too... totally worth it.
