Is there an easy point to take the boost pressure pipe to on a Grand Cherokee CRD 2007. I have had an autometer boost gauge in the garage ready to fit on the XJ which I sold 21/2 years ago !!! Didn't get round to it !!
Might as well fit it to the WK if possible?
Are you referring to the metal pipe coming from the boost side of the turbo? If so there is two bolts to remove on the plastic resonator allowing it to drop down so it will slide out of the chrome pipe. Just replaced the turbo on my 07. They are shown in the 3.0L engine manual floating around.
Got it sorted a long time ago ! I tig welded a small pipe into the turbo feed pipe from the resonator and ran a flexible hose to the boost gauge on the A pillar.
Sounds like a nice job you did. I went the simple route and got a low profile obd scanner that stays plugged in and bluetooth to it running Torque pro on my phone. It reads boost from the ecm.
