Coolant leak

Hi I have a very slow coolant leak its about half an inch every three weeks.it appears to be coming from the front part of the engine slight drop of water below the two front belts any idea what is leaking is the water pump in this location as you may have gathered I am not that mechanically minded.regards Martin.

Re: Coolant leak

It could be the water pump or a couple other things. Need bit more info. The EGR Cooler is in the V of the engine and could drop coolant in that area. The thermostat and intake manifolds could drop coolant in that general area. I would get a flash light and try to get a good idea of where its coming from.
