Has anybody drove the GC CRD? I would really like to get me one after I pay off my 3.7.

I just bought a 07 CRD last week. Literally on day 9 and I love it! Drives so smooth...and is a beast when you need it. I'm getting OK mileage (not great bc I am driving on 265 Blizzaks when I really shouldn't be...), and I'm really happy with it. What are your concerns?

Had mine for 6 months, really nice, if you want the great milage keep the 245's on them. Great power for trailering. With you guys paying like + 30-40 cents a gallon for diesel, I might re-think this. In canada, diesel is the same price as regular gas but I have been to new york and you guys are getting ripped!!!!!!!

4.0 litre,XJ, got 395,000 km out of it before I sold it and it was still running strong. I have had the CRD for only 6 months, it has 50,000 miles on it so a little too new for issues, I would think!

So I Iwent from a 70 liter tank to 80 liters (CRD), I was getting about 750 km tank before I went up the tire size from 245 to 265, Now getting around 650 km. Still better then the thirsty 4.0 litre, Torque is 240 verses like 380 foot/lbs (CRD), that will trump your 3.7 for sure if you are trailering or offroading.

Keep in Mind all the CRD's I have seen in Canada only come in leather, You need the heated seats up here! I miss the cloth in my XJ.
