Re: GDE Eco and dpf delete

Thanks for the response. I have a 03 Dodge Cummins+05 Liberty CRD and we just picked this 08 GC CRD up. GDE is very good at what they do but things were a little vague on the DPF info. I saw the DPF delete pipe and with the software adjustments allows NOT using the low ash over priced oils which in my opinion are not as good as the synthetics for the Cummins/VM+ and non DPF diesels. Not alot of support info out there on tweeking these 3.0 CRD's like the 05-06 2.8 Liberty CRD's.Engine is an engine and working without a net just isn't so bad. It's only money, right, when the experiment goes south.

2007 here. Just did the GDE eco tune with dpf delete on mine about a month ago. 1000 miles so far with no issues. When you buy the tune you will recieve both the dpf intact and dpf delete tunes. Noticiable increase in power and boost lag is almost nonexistent with the tune. With that and the egr/swirl motor deletes in the tune its a no brainer. Either spend $700 now on a tune or you will be out thousands for a swirl motor sometime in the future. Ymmv but I love mine with the delete and tune.

Re: GDE Eco and dpf delete

Great site, looking forward to many mods to my '08 GC CRD...likely the GDE tune will be #1 (is this as easy as described on-line?)

Thanks NewK.
