I was looking online for options on exhaust systems, I came across that Magnaflow is making a exhaust system, here is the info; 5 x 8 x 18in. Muffler; 3.0in. Tubing; 3.5in. Polished Stainless Tip; SINGLE REAR SIDE EXIT PASSENGER SIDE Part 16812. I know the MBRP doesn't have a muffler but the Magnaflow will. It seems that would virtually be the same setup as stock?

I wouldn't waste my money on an aftermarket exhaust system for the wk diesel. The stock system is 2.75" with a flow through resonator. You won't experience any gain with the dpf filter in place. Even with the dpf removed the stock sytem flows more than enough for the stock turbo. I have no dpf filter with no resonator and the exhaust note is barely louder than stock. I would get a good tune before any else.

I have the Custom Spooling Tune with EGR and DPF delete. I think its the best and the peace of mind with those two systems offline. The power is awesome and super quick.
I have heard good things about GDE.

The exhaust manifolds on the OM642 are tubular 409 stainless steel. I will call it the "merge collector" on the exhaust pre-turbo is the only cast iron in the exhaust manifolds. I don't know of anyone making headers for this engine. However, I believe this engine with the stock turbo will not flow enough air to need headers. I don't have any pictures of the stock manifolds with me, but if you google pictures of the engine you can get some decent pic of the manifolds.
