Angry Module glow plug problem after recall

I have a 2008 diesel grand cherokee which was recalled by jeep this year
The day after picking back up from the dealer the jeep would not start for 4 or 5 goes = took back to dealer and pointed out that in theoriginal letter from jeep re the recall they said that the prob with them in the states related to jeeps with the self starter.
I assumed as they did the recall service that they may have altered the strating sequence and this led to my susequent starting probs
dealer said no the prob now was the glow plug module and the prob was just coincidental so the replaced the module ($654)
Did any one else have a similar prob when the recall was done ??

I had a recall also but nothing wrong withmy glow plug module after that ..
the glow plug modules are known to fail as I've seen on many forums

Have you change the module already ???
if not see below thread
Faulty glow plug module ???

It's cheaper by Merc
The module costs approx 150 and it's a 5-10 min work to be replaced..

Re: Module glow plug problem after recall

I had it done and it killed my key fobs, the dealer had to order new key fobs, what a nuisance.
