OME Heavy or OME Medium lift?? -07 WK Diesel

Hey guys,

Which is best for me? The heavy or medium OME lift??? Is there a huge diff?

I live in LA - 95% of the time is on paved roads. 5% of the time, snowboarding, and off road to surf spots. I like the aggressive look, but want to make sure ride quality isn't compromised...

My chick will kill me if I make this ride rougher. Right now I am riding stock susp.

Thoughts?

Re: OME Heavy or OME Medium lift?? -07 WK Diesel

I just installed the OME MD lift today. Bouncy/stiffer ride. I love it though but I can only imagine how stiff the HD is. ARB don't recommend HD unless you have constant weight like the ARB bumpers and or winch.

Now I know my coils and shocks have to break in but I like it. Hope the slight bounce/stiffness stay. Rides like a Rubicon.......almost.

I have HD all around, it rides nice, well, I like it. There is a bit of nose down rake in the Jeep still, I guess because of the heavy CRD. You could go with HD front and MD rear.

Ok... Did you have stock suspension before the hd one? Does the hd ride way tighter? I really don't want a rough ride where you feel every crack and every bump...

Re: OME Heavy or OME Medium lift?? -07 WK Diesel

I feel EVERY crack in the road the OME MD. But.......I love it. I like the "truck" like ride. It reminds me of drivig my uncle's big Ox Body Dump Bed Truck learning to drive a stick.

I love it. And keep in mind that my small 3.7 play a big factor in the ride quality.

When I read the OME catalog, I didn't see V6 OME in there anywhere. All is had was V8 WK. Therefore, it doesn't seem like any OME kit was really intended to be made for the 3.7

I'll post the link to the catalog when I get it.

Here it is: http://opony-4x4.pl/OME%20www.opony-4x4.pl.pdf
