Hey, while out today with the truck I was on the motorway for about an hour. When I stopped I could smell really bad burning brakes smell. I checked all four wheels and found the rear right to be red hot, alloy included. The hub was roasting and stank of brake burn. Can anyone confirm if this is a hub issue or a brake pressure issue. Checked fluids and all appears fine. I stripped the wheels and brakes tonight and re greased all the pads and shims as they were all new last week. Ant help would be appreciated.

Hi, thanks for replying. I re greased everything. When I checked the pins they were still very lubricated and I have another lube just to be sure. I'm hoping that it was just the shins and pins that needed more lubrication.

caliper is sticking, either seals are worn or u need to replace the brake line. IF a shop did the work and it was not dragging before than, they may have damaged the brake line.

Check the flexi hose they can break down internally and work like a one way valve not letting the brakes fully release!!
Also check the hand brake is releasing correctly as this runs inside the hub on the rear rotors.
