2" BB on 05 WK

I am looking for a 2 inch budget boost for my 2005 WK and iv done some research. There are several brands out there like daystar and teraflex that have poly spacers but others like rough country that have metal spacers. Which do you think is better and another area for concern is I have read that after people put the 2" BB a front end clunk appears. Is this a common thing for WKs?

Both types of lift have their advantages. The poly spacer would work if you plan on going bigger later on because you could reuse your poly spacer in the rear. The metal lift such as the RC won't sag after several years as the poly spacer might. Either one is good.

As for the front end clunk, yes it is common I guess but it is an easy fix for the most part. Typically it is a simple 1/8 of a turn of a steering component. There is threads about this.

Re: 2" BB on 05 WK

I went with a 2" rough country BB, if you call rough country directly and tell them you are on a couple jeep forums and thats how you heard about them you get a nice little discount, I think I ended up paying like $145 shipped for mine. As far as the front end clunk, I had a slight noise when i did mine myself, but once I had the front end aligned the correct way no more noises and drives like stock. Good luck
