Question 2" lift with stock Goodyears

I've been considering a 2" lift for some time now on my '08 GC. I do have some concerns though related to tire size and wheel gap. Budget-wise, I don't have enough funds to purchase larger tires at this time. If I follow through with the lift, I plan on keeping my stock-size Goodyear Forteras for some time, especially considering they're practically brand new. My question is, with the stock tire size, how will the lift look? How much wheel gap will I have? In my opinion, I think it'd look silly considering I wouldn't have larger wheels/tires, but I could be wrong. Can anyone post pics? I just need help finalizing my decision. I've scoured everywhere for pics, and unless I've passed them up, I can't find anything. Again, looking for pics of WKs with 2" lift and stock tires.

Please help!

Jack it up a couple inches, step back and take it all in. A doubt it will be a head turner.

Here's a pic of mine with a 2.5"(OME) lift and 31s. I don't think it will look too bad with stockers, personally I think the smaller tires aren't bad- you have a full size spare and no rubbing. Sooner or later I'll replace these 255/70s with some 255/75s, but for now I enjoy the ride and the look.

Excuse the suds lol ImageUploadedByJeepGarage1461496205.956323.jpg

Looks good! What all is necessary with the OEM lift? Just springs? Shocks? Other?

springs and shocks, I replaced my UCAs with moogs when I did the lift cause the stockers had 160k on them. if you have relatively low miles and don't intend on wheeling it I would go moog, or go JBA if you intend on wheeling it. also new spring isolators depending on mileage

Thank you for the response. I have low miles and wanted to lift for some time. With a lifetime warranty I was excited to see an OEM offering, only to realize yesterday OME is not a typo.

What can I do without voiding the warranty? What's the tallest tire that clears a 2008 GC?

Oh yeah. I'm new to the site.
