2" RC Lift with MLL (F150)

Hey everyone, I installed my Monroe sensa-trac's today. After looking through the forums I decided to go with the longer F150 ones, part #58643. I noticed about a 3" increase from ground to the top of the wheel well. From what ive heard this will go down after they sit. I also ordered my 2" rough country lift today. Has any of you had any issues with these longer MLL's with the RC lift? I want to keep the rake of the jeep, as i think it looks better. After I get the lift put in, my next choice is what size Duratrac's to get? I was thinking 265/70/17....If someone could post a picture of their WK with the RC lift with the F150 MLL's that would be great! I will post pictures as soon as i can

Thanks
Ben

Re: 2" RC Lift with MLL (F150)

They will settle down after a few weeks. I cant believe the gain from just adding those shocks... you'll def have the "raked" stance your going for.

Im running the WK LL's with the RC lift and my Jeep sits 100% level front to back. 265/70/17's will lookl great. You might want to consider wheel spacers to avoid rubbing.

Re: 2" RC Lift with MLL (F150)

Ants, From what i read, it sounds like they will settle down a bit. I was expecting maybe a inch and a half MAX. But 3 inches? lol. I actually replace some gabriel cheap struts that i put on a few months ago, that were already rusting out. Are you running the part #58643(F150) ones? Ive done alot of research on here, and come to find out i like the Rake better than level.

Re: 2" RC Lift with MLL (F150)

still looks better then this....

What should I do next to my jeep???

The RC lift will level the front and rear, so you might not have much rake after the install. All depends on how those MLL's settle.

Ohh wow, that is...different! I ive heard that about the RC's. Im hoping to keep a slight rake. But nothing near what i have now...Is there any tips on putting the front spacers in? When i did the struts a few months back, i remember my uncle and I having a hard time getting them out of there and back in...

Soak the *hit out of everything with PB blaster or WD40. Do this atleast 1-2 days prior to you installing the lift kit. It makes all the difference.

Re: 2" RC Lift with MLL (F150)

looks sweet! I am currently considering doing pretty much the same with my WK once it gets out of the body shop. May go with grabber at2's though. I've got MD Blitz's on it now but may go back to the stock ronin's after seeing this.
