Re: 2005 wk limited lift kits?

theres a TON of information on lifts of all kinds on this site. just search around.

long story short:
if you want to spend less - Rough Country 2.5" lift.
if you want spend more, but not as much as say a superlift... you'll have best on and off road combo with 3" of lift - OME HD lift.

look in the lifted WK thread of OffroadModifications section. TONS of pictures of both.

use spacers to clear the uca bolt. or trim the bolt with stock 17" wheels. spidertrax are best way to go for spacers. 1.5" are popular.

and most popular tire size is 265/70 ATs or 255/75 MTs

As far as BB go, stick with the RRO or the RC and avoid the RK at all costs. Just my 2 cents.

Re: 2005 wk limited lift kits?

The rock road lifts are very reasonably priced...kind of shocked!! Are the wheel spacer size a preference? Some people are running 1.75" and some 1.5"? Does it matter?

Re: 2005 wk limited lift kits?

I would go with 1.5" at the max. I have those and they stick out so that the tread surface of the tire sits about .25" outside of the fender, and the side wall sticks out even futher than that. If you want your tires to be able to fit inside of your wheel well, I'd look around for 1" or so.

The only wheel spacers to buy are spidertrax.

Re: 2005 wk limited lift kits?

I agree with Lucas. I dont trust other ones. (im sure some people may have zero problems with other brands)..but call it superstition, hard-headedness, what have you.. If I didnt have my spidertrax, I would be shelling out some serious cash on aftermarket wheels...which would be nice to own, but i dont have that kid of cashflow to throw around.
