Ok so I had for the last 65,000 miles 255/65/17 and was thinking about going back to 245/65/17 tires. I honeslty didn't see any gain with the 255 tire. Any input from you guys?
The weird part is tire place says 255 is a little cheaper.

I went from stock to 255/65/17 I just liked the look of the 255's. I don't think it would matter that much. If you went back to 245's it might look to skinny after having the 255's on for a while.
Ended going with a set of 245/65/17. Grabber HTS. Def missed the ride quality. Yes, they do look a little skinnier then the 255's but IMO ride a lot better. Also, went with a less agressive tire then last time, had Geolander AT-S, Grabbers have better treadwear.
The 245 is more then enough for me and what I use my Jeep for. Better ride on highway and tracks straigher.
