I know the question has probably been answered before but I can't seem to find a straight answer. I'm looking at a set of 255/75R17 JK rubi wheels and tires and I was wondering if it will fit with only a 2 inch lift.
I just picked up a set of 255/75/17 off a Rubi and put them on this past weekend. I have a 3 inch OME MD lift with 1.25" spacers and it fits great. Haven't felt any rubbing, but also haven't put it at full lock. I had a set of 265/70/17's on there before,
Here is picture. I have more than 2 inches, so not sure if it answers your question. You would probably need a spacer...
Thanks for the replies guys. Your Jeeps looks awesome. I had seen them on the board before. I was hoping to hear from someone with 2" spacer lift though.
im running them with a 2" lift, i have 1.25" spacers and had to fold the pinch weld. working on extending my rear bump stops also because the inner fender chews up the tires when stuffed.
I run the JK Rubi tires and rims with no lift and no spacers. Does not rub anywhere. You just have to trim a little extra material off of the caliper mount, to help the wheels clear.
I bet they don't rub with the Moab wheels without spacers because I barely rub at full lock with the OEM wheels without spacers. The Moab wheels give a little bit of offset.
How's that worked out for you? You got any pics of that? It helps when discussing mods w/ my wife if I can show, "Hey this guy's done it. It works & it looks like this."
