Air Suspension Replacement Question
I recently purchased a used 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland. It has QL. At Normal ride height there is a knock on both sides of front suspension when you hit a bump. I have done a lot of searching about this noise and I haven't found a real answer.
The engine mounts were just replaced so it isn't an engine mount. The noise happens at all QL height settings, so it isn't the suspension running out of travel. It definitely isn't the auto leveling headlights which seems to be a common answer.
My Questions: Has anyone had a similar experience? Thinking of just replacing the air suspension with an aftermarket coil over system, are there differences (other than actual shocks) between the QL suspension and a standard WK2 Suspension?
Thanks so much.
