Anyone use a 285 series tire? Did it stick out of the wheel well?

as long as you have the correct offset wheel.....no tire will stick out. I have 285-40-20's on the rear of my WK and they look sick

Can a 285 50 20 fit on the 8" 2012 overland stock rims? I'm getting conflicting info.
One tire retailer T-rack says yes, DT Tire Direct says it would be borderline. Apparently the "book" says 285 50 20 can fit 8" thru 10" wide rim. Anyone running these on an Overland? I have noticed that MichiganMan is running 275's on the stock 8" 20 rim...???

I have a 315 on my rear wheel and it looks even sicker than scotts 285 HAHA..... To the OP you have a WK2 not a WK so you should check in that forum for more info about your jeep
