Re: Asking for some Helpful Advice

I don't mean to hijack this thread, but I think my question is related.
I have a 3.7 wk and 245 Destination A/Ts that I just got about 9 months ago, so I don't want to replace them quite yet.
From what I can tell from all of your builds, putting a 2in lift on my jeep could look pretty silly. But I would like to get a bit above the stock height. I was reading that getting new shocks might get the job done. Considering I'm at around 90k miles I might benefit from an upgrade here anyway.
Any ideas?
(if I just couldn't find a thread that already covers this conversation, please point me that way)

Re: Asking for some Helpful Advice

You can get the WK Bilsteins struts and shocks which they say add about 3/8ths of an inch. The 2" lift on top of that makes it all even better! But once you start lifting, you're gonna wanna go higher! I know from experience! haha

Re: Asking for some Helpful Advice

Oh I'd LOVE to go with the 2in+ lift right now, and get some 265s, but my tires have a couple years left in them.

Is it the Bilstein HD or MD that I need to grab to get the 3/8in lift?

Re: Asking for some Helpful Advice

You want the regular WK Bilsteins, not the SRTs

And you'll get about that 3/8ths of an inch

Re: Asking for some Helpful Advice

Excellent. Thanks. Now to find a way to explain needing new shocks as a need instead of a want...
