Re: Bagged out WK

So AIRBAGIT.com had the best looking for kit price/quality! BUT silly me had invisioned the "slammed" look and these kits only drop ~2" below normal ride height sometimes lower. To get the slammed look you must do custom fabrication. I personally like the ride of my current OEM suspension in the JGC.

They have GREAT customer service and are willing to help with ALL questions and are VERY knowledgeable!! Answered my questions through e-mail to fullest he could written. I was unable to personally contact him due to my work schedule. they are also able to make custom struts/suspension depending on your needs! CHECK EM OUT. I plan to use them in the future for my projects later on.

Re: Bagged out WK

Guess you already figured it out, was going to say it'll take a lot more than $3500 to get the JGC to lay frame lol.
That is what I would ultimately like to do to mine, but would need to develope my welding skills quite a bit.
The one on cardomain looks pretty good, but I wonder if he could still get that low on real size wheels?

Re: Bagged out WK

So has anybody done this with the WK yet who can provide some feedback? I'm interested in an air suspension setup for a more luxurious ride. I plan on leaving the front of the vehicle at the stock ride height and lowering the rear ~1.5 inches so the vehicle sits level (similar to the picture below (I ride around with 220LBs in my rear cargo area so the vehicle drives smoother. The bi-product in this is that it also levels the ride which I love)). Maybe even lowering the front on Highway drives to help with gas milage. If anybody has done this on the WK or any other vehicle, can you provide some feedback on whether I'd feel a smoother ride out of adding the air suspension?

I spoke to somebody from airbagit.com and they said it'd achieve everything I was asking for. Their kits are designed for people who want lower rides, but they said as long as I described what I was looking for before placing the order, they'd be able to achieve the stock ride height up front and the 1.5" lower rear that I was looking for. Their only concern was that I wanted to lower the vehicle on the highway. They said it'd throw off my alignment.

Any feedback on any of my concerns would be greatly appreciated since I have no clue what I'm doing.

Re: Bagged out WK

I decided to not change up the suspension but airbagit.com knows their stuff and is able to custom make you anything tonfit you needs. If you decide to, post pics! Good Luck!
