Bent shocks?

I replaced my brake pads and while I was in there I noticed my shocks look bent! Both passenger and drivers side. Are they suppose to look like this?! Pics are passenger side only.

Well first off, those pics are of your WK's front passenger strut, not a shock. Also, I'm assuming you're referring to the bottom strut plate where the coil isolator is?

If that's what you're referring to, it's just where the end of the coil spring is. It has to be farther down, hence the bend in the plate (picture what the end of a spring looks like in your head), because it serves to kind of lock the end of the coil spring in place on the strut plate and into the coil spring isolators (the rubber part that prevents rubbing/scraping noises).

Your strut body (the tubular portion) looks fine and undamaged.

10-4 thanks for clarifying that. I plan on getting some Bilsteins soon anyways but the bent metal part just looked odd to me.
