Brake pad recommendation

Hi all,
I am new here, living in Mexico and due to my work I just bought a JGC 5.9 1998 with a level 4 bullet resistant package.
It's a low mileage car and in very good condition as this type of vehicle tends to be.

It's a heavy car and I want to change the pads for something that will stop this beast without to much stress when the current pads get low.
Does anybody have any experience or thoughts about this?

And no I am not a Gung ho type, I just work in some dangerous locations in this part of the world and have an actual need for this type of vehicle.

Thanks in advance.
PD

Wow, that's quite the package! EBC and Hawk stuff is great.

If it were me, I would be looking at rotor upgrades too (and possibly better calipers). With the extra weight, you may run into brake heating issues, which will cause brake fade).

Sorry... I cannot offer any specific advice for the ZJ. You might try posting the same question to the ZJ forum.

Re: Brake pad recommendation

Thanks guys. I will investigate rotors for sure, and I had a 400hp suburban that braked well with EBC green stuff.
