So that's what my rear bumpstops look like after the shop installed SRT springs and shocks. Shocks/springs were only supposed to have 20k on them and looked in good condition. Top spring insulators were from same SRT I believe, with cups for the bumpstops in good condition. The bumpstops were reused from my car. This is how the GC sits, no weight in it. Rides somewhat rough in the rear as it is clearly sitting on the bumpstops. Am I missing something? I didn't really pay attention to where it sat before ths swap but the original bumpstop cups look a lot shorter.
You need the SRT bump stops which are shorter. I had the same problem when I put the Eibach SRT lowering springs on mine. Bottomed out all the time. Since changing them (they came with the spring kit), I've never bottomed out.
I'm wondering if I can just install the original bump stop cups, they seem a lot shorter? I tried to see the difference between the bump stops but could only find pictures showing they are different, no lengths listed.
