changing tire size

I just bought an 07 JGC and the tires are getting low. When I replace them, I would like to change rim size, 17" rubber is more $$$ then 18" here. Is there anyone that has any info as to what I can go to.
I won't be putting on mudders, just speed rated m/s tires.
Intention is to have a good tire for 25% off road(trail to the cabin) and the rest for hi speed travel(getting to the trail into the cabin). 30 mile commute to and from work 5 days a week.

Re: changing tire size

if youre talking tire size.. im currently running a set of JK sahara 18s with 255/70s on them and they dont rub. they are a 32", a true 32" tire. i have seen pics of people running these without a BB. i would recommend a set of 1/4" spacers in the front just to play it safe with the front bolt.

as for brand, im digging the BFG rugged terrain in an 18 as well as possibly a falken. both are relatively cheap and have a good reputation.
