Re: Coil Springs

What are your hub-fender measurements? If you are sagging then I would go ahead and replace them, if not then just leave them for now. Are you looking to maintain stock height?

Re: Coil Springs

try and find yourself some XK hemi coils, and some rear XK coils- they will give you a bit of a boost. you can find them on justforjeeps.com

and to cross-reference another thread of yours- you will need to remove the springs to replace the coil isolators.

Re: Coil Springs

Hey thx for the answer on those isolators. How would you decide though that it's time to change the springs and why do you like the ones you suggested?

no prob about the isolators...

theres really no way to determine when exactly to change your springs. as the mileage gets higher, they get alittle softer and the ride gets alittle softer. you replace your shocks, changes the ride some and then your going through shocks cause theyre doing all the work and your springs are doing nothing. i mean if youre taking the time to swap shocks and you have a set of springs or a BB to swap in do it all at once.

i like the XK hemi springs because they are higher in spring rate- so thats alittle stiffer and offer a more controlled ride and a bit of a lift

Re: Coil Springs

Monroe makes what they call a "quick strut" (rock auto) It's a strut ,coil spring and new strut mount in one assembly.
