Re: Daystar lift rear height

I am at 22.25" from fender to hub center with an RC lift and F150 MLLs. I installed my shocks at the same time as the lift so I'm not sure how much of that is from the MLLs. I've heard they add 1.25" though, so that would be somewhere around 21" with just the RC. What are you guys at with the Daystar? Just curious.

Re: Daystar lift rear height

The Daystar levels the WK from what I've seen. A leveled WK gives off a saggy rear look due to design/lines.

I prefer the factory rake.

Re: Daystar lift rear height

My idea for revamping my BB was to add a front strut spacer or a hemi XK front coil with a set of Monroe load levelers in the rear. I was considering ditching the Daystar for a RRO BB and get another 1/2" maybe. But I think with the addition of a XK hemi coil and load levelers in the rear- I may gain another 1/2"+.

Still kicking around some ideas, as I have OME HD coils and rear shocks already in my basement- just need struts. But idk if I want to throw that in or not. I've seen pics of WKs with BBs running 33s and I love the look. Squatty aggressive and still somewhat functional, and since I rarely offroad that fits my style.

I might look into this as well. if you go with either the strut spacer or the hemi XK coil along with the MLLs, please let us know how it works out and some pics! I'm happy with my daystar for now.. but I know I'll eventually get the itch to boost it a tad more and what you're speaking might be just what I'm looking for when the time comes..
I like the BB's running 33s as well and I'm with you on the functionality..my WK is my daily driver so i dont want to get too crazy and I'm usually off road mostly through trails in the woods when hiking and camping on weeekends... I have yet to do any sort of rock climbing with my WK.

will do. like i said im still weighing options but i have it narrowed down as to what two directions im going to go. as my rig nears 100k im considering revamping the whole suspension. i also heard that replacing the coil spring isolators can give you a small boost for the time being.. check out the "mini lift" thread, he replaced struts/shocks and coil spring isolators as well as did the strut spacer and it turned out great. if i didnt like a lift and a 33 i would go that route.

but after seeing andrew44's rig on another site and a couple others running a BB and 33s, its definitely the look im going for.
