First Post-Needing tires

Need tires for my 06', looking for opinions. I live in Western Pa. and work 35 miles from home up Rt.30 to Somerset over the mountain. Had Mastercraft MSR's on my Durango and they were great, but this is a different vehicle, different 4wd system. Not worried about tire noise, treawear or any of that stuff. 245-65-17, theres not alot of choices. Nitto Grapplers, BFG Rugged terrain,MT Baja Stz,any other suggestions-the BFG Long Trails are better off as planters outside a trailer park. Thanks!

Re: First Post-Needing tires

Thanks, I actually work at a steelmill in Hollsopple, below Johnstown down 219- I was wanting the TA-KO's but could'nt find them in the size I need, don't really want to modify anything on the Jeep, spacers maybe.

You should be all set with some 245/70/17.

Re: First Post-Needing tires

Thanks! I just saw them in Summit, I'll keep looking for a better deal but these are what I was really wanting just was'nt sure about spacing, the op ball joint bolt was the first thing I noticed at the dealership and had me worried and then I saw the limited selection for the 245-65's, thanks again!
