Hello, Is it normal to need to change my brakes and rotors after 4 years doing 7500-10000 miles a year?

I had bought thermosqueak brake pads and centric rotors and these heads i dont really trust told me its time for new ones. But they only looked at the back ones.

Should I just order new ones from rockauto and be done with it? It's for a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.7 Laredo. What type would you order for snow heavy conditions as well as I'm up here in Canada. Thanks.

I bought the same kind of pads about 4-5 years ago. Not sure about the rotors. Probably just whatever was cheapest on RockAuto at the time. And that's about how long mine lasted, ~45k. I would never get those kind of pads again. Not sure what I'm going to go with, but anything but those things. They were the worst. I'm kind of glad they are gone. I'm sick of dealing with the cold metal squeaking sound. Once the weather starts looking better, I'll probably just pick something off of Rock Auto. Not the cheapest, but definitely not Wagner! Power stop, Maybe... I've installed those on a few other vehicles for family members. They all seem to be quite pleased with them.

Hey there, do these rotors look worn out/time to change?

I'm thinking of going with POWER STOP KOE2220 Autospecialty By Power Stop 1-Click Daily Driver Brake Kits Click Info for full list of components. Front And Rear for $200-275US Shipped. More Information for POWER STOP KOE2220
