How do you keep your wheels safe?

Do you do anything to keep your nice rims safe? like a cover or a lock?

iwanna get nice black 20's but i feel like they would get stolen if i just left my car in the driveway.

i wouldnt worry too much about it. Locks will only slow casual thieves down, if they really want it they'll get it.

Re: How do you keep your wheels safe?

I went with these - Gorilla Black Lock Lugs They were a good price around ~$45 for the whole set. They match my rims well, but they do make a few types.

No I don't to be honest.

I have had concern ith other wheels on other vehicles I've owned in the past, but at least here in Oz, Jeeps aren't that common and the wheels don't fit anything else, so I feel quite safe.

I still believe that if a theif really wants your wheels, they'll get the wheels. They might have to take the entire vehicle, but they'll get them.

Plus, I assume you're insured? A $500 excess (deductable you guys call it?) for stolen wheels and tires is cheap, especially if your tires are nearly work out

Re: How do you keep your wheels safe?

See those "black" things where the lugs are - that's them They are locking lugs - 5 little black round dots around the (chrome) center-cap.
