ok.i read a lot here and people who lowered their CRD are pretty rare.Im going for a set of bilstein HD shock for sure(serie 4600).My only concern is about coils.I read the bilstein shock will raise a GC of 1.8".So if i choose a set of WK H&R or eibach lowering spring kit im gonna end up with no drop at all. Should i choose a set of eibach SRT-8 lowering springs without having any problems?

Bilstein hd's only raise u 3/8".....if you want a slight drop with good ride...get the wk h&r's or eibachs. For an extreme slam...get the wk srt8 eibachs.

I just order my bilstein HD shock and H&R springs.:)Can't wait to install them and see the difference.Couldnt find a srt8 rear sway bar,i guess they come right from the dealer.I will give them a call in the morning.

Just call jeep dealership and he told me hes got 2 differents srt8 swaybars. One call "performance" at 150$ cdn and the other call "HD" at 175$ cdn.Never heard about that.Anyone??Need to call again with the part number Scott put in hes suspension thread.Think i will ask for both part number and compare to.

for now i have oem. i'm saving up for bilsteins, they're pretty pricey. i have H&R on the truck right now and the ride is really good. i'm very pleased with them. i also have oem sawys too. i'm going to install srt bilsteins, and sways.. but for now the ride is totally fine for me. i also live on a dirt road... no bottoming out.

Ok so i install my new suspension last week(H&R coils and HD WK bilstein)and i didnt see a big difference with my OEM set up.I was hopping for a stiffer ride but isnt the case at all.On the lowering side,i went 1inch lower, witch is not that much.Im a little bit disapointed but at least my wheels are not bouncing anymore.I should purchase the real SRT bilstein .Feel like i waste 600$,almost the price of a tune.Im not saying my setup its total crap, still little bit better but not like i was expecting.Maybe if i install front and rear SRT sway bar i will see a difference.Hopefully.

The commander rear sway is the same as the srt8 rear sway. You can get those pretty cheap at the salvage yards. Sways help a lot with better handling. What do you want to improve? The shocks and springs should give a pretty nice ride. SRT eibachs lower it quite a bit, but my biggest complaint was the lack of up travel, but I drive my wk pretty hard and think the stock setup could use more up travel.
