Lowering Springs

I've been thinking about lowering my WK in the back to match the front. What are probaly the best springs? (Srt, Bwoody, eibach, etc.) I havent done this before. And where the best place to buy them that is pretty cheap but still good quality? Anyone think they are on sale anywhere for Black Friday?

AfterMarket: 5% Tint over Stock, 5% Windshield Strip, 15% Front Tint, 30% Front Tint Removed, 2 12" MTX Subwoofers, 18" Pacer Wheels, Spyder LED TailLights (Tinted), Mini Antenna, Debadge, iSimple iPod Built-in Adapter

Re: Lowering Springs

I have the SRT8 Eibachs and luv them, evened it out perfectly. I dont think you can buy just the rears unless someone is selling them used, so while your at it slam it I say. Remember to upgrade the shocks as well or you may/most likely blow them.

I would check the other SRT8 sites and you may find someone selling there used SRT8 springs for cheap. As far as Bwoodys I dont have any experience but lots do on here. Check out Scotts excellent write-up he posted on suspension components for some ideas.
I love my Jeep

Re: Lowering Springs

I have srt8 coils front and rear, and the rear is only 1/8" higher. Can't tell with the naked eye. OEM srt coils can be bought individually, unlike aftermarket sets, however I recommend that if you replace rears, you do fronts too. You don't want the rear stiff and the old fronts loose or springy and have the tail of your jeep come around and great you on a slippery corner. Just a word of caution. As for cheap, haunt the forums in the parts for sale sections and you can find oem srt coils for $100 or aftermarket kits for half price. You just have to be patient like a sniper....
