Re: Need new tires

you might also look into the wild peak tires by Falken. My wife has those on her Commander and has put 20K on the tires and they still look brand new.

Well my dad offered to buy my tires. Told me to get asap so I will go tomorrow. Leaning towards 245/65/17 silent armors.

Anyone else recommend a tire and size for stock wk?

Looks like the cooper discover at3 and destination a/t are the 2 best for price? Both look sub 180$.

Question on size? I know jeep is 245/65/17 but I'm reading to get the 255/65 or 70/17?

A bit of help is appreciated. As ways, thanks!

Tire size change would require speedo recalibration ...granted one size it won't change much but it will be off

Re: Need new tires

found a couple threads you might want to look at.

seems like another member put on 255/70/17 with no issues and no mods.

biggest tire

Re: Need new tires

Wow did not expect to see another Omahan on here! I clicked on the Craigslist link and saw that was in Lincoln haha. I know you can fit a 255/70/17 on stock suspension. You can also fit 265/65/17 but it'll be close to the bolt and might require spacers. I'm personally looking at 245/70/17s for mine on stock suspension.

Nice Omaha! Going with the at3 in either 255/70/17 or 245/70/17

Re: Need new tires

Heard good things about that tire. Either should fit. I'm actually looking at those tires myself. Let me know how they do in the snow. You ever go wheeling around here? I can't find anywhere or even a place just to mess around in!
