Nominate Need your professional opinion for lowering a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Hey Jeep Experts,

I plan on lowering my 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee on stock wheels, with H & R springs 1.5 inch drop. Is this to much? I need a visual and your opinion.

These springs should get you close to the stance of a stock WK SRT8. There is your yardstick to measure.

You could always use hold down straps, put them through the coils of the springs then tighten down and lower it any height you want. They may break once in awhile so keep extras handy.

Now that's clever. I could have saved a lot of money if you had suggested this sooner. Ya think duct tape would work to reinforce the strap?
