I was lost in Chevy but found my way to Jeep (It's like lego for big kids) Anyhow I bought a stock but clean 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited with 5.7L
I was looking to replace the tires for quite some time now and realized 245/65/17 was a commuter wagon in the Jeep world. Pondering that for a while I noticed oil spots underneath the drivers tire, at first I thought it was brake fluid at first. Upon inspection I found the strut was having a meltdown. Now that I knew the suspension had to be ripped apart I thought ah ha (Much to my wifes chagrin) so since I was going deep I figured 2" was in order from Rough country.
Now I'm at tire store chasing down deals last week and get a great price for 265/70/17 BFG KO2's. I pulled the trigger and had them put on
Now here's were my rookie knowledge comes in. I'm not rubbing anything per-say but that bolt behind the tire is looming large over the nice new rubbers like "Ya, I want to shred these new front tires" LOL
So before I go any further I thought I would join in with people that know and have some fun with this (Not like it hasn't been ask 1000 times before)
