Re: Nitto 420's in the snow

I thought the Nitto's were loud and uncomfortable and I thought the Dueler H/L Alenza+ was a better choice for a daily driver. Noticeable difference in ride comfort. This decision was not based on speed performance.

That was my opinion but I only drove on the Nitto's for two days.

I have to agree with you. I posted a problem with my HID's. had over 200+ views and not one person step up to make a comment or offer suggestion. Finally figure it out after a whole month. This is a forum not a spectator sport.

personal preference I guess. when I had the 420's I though they where really quiet compared to the yokohama's I had before. they are certainly a touch quieter the gmax's I got now

Speaking of snow in KY, we had 8" in Fayette on Monday...how were things a little south? Have you had the 2014 SRT out in the snow?

We got about 14" here in berea. My jeep was literally a snow plow monday night on my way home from work. The nitto 420s did just fine...especially for having probably 25k miles on them.....

That's not bad. Now that I'm on Campbell again I need to make a trip out sometime to see the bloodied beast in person lol

Re: Nitto 420's in the snow

I’ve been running the Nitto 420’s on my SS. It’s concerning in the snow however I did disable all traction ( stabilitrac ) systems. It has a stiffer suspension too. ReasonI post that is if you’re a fairly stock Jeep I think the tires are fine.

I’d put them on my Cherokee all day.

Re: Nitto 420's in the snow

My SRT is lowered over 2" all around...but I would guess my SRT is much better than the SS in snow.
