Park Brake Problems

Hi everyone,
I just bought a Limited Diesel and I live in Australia, Right Hand Drive.
The US engineering didnt take into account properly the dreadful place they mounted this brake.
Has anyone else got the problem of it getting in the way of your left foot?
Thinking about trying to bend it a little to help get it out of the way

I don't like the position of the small brake pedal either and would love a foot rest there. I could imagine the pedal doing some damage to the left lower leg in an accident too. My main concern with the location of the pedal though is that i actually get a bit of pain in my left knee over a longer drive. It seems like the transmission tunnel impinges on the left foot space a bit and, in combination with the pedal location, it means that my left leg isn't able to find a really comfortable position. I love my Jeep but on a long drive that discomfort is a disappointment.

Re: Park Brake Problems

You all are in the wrong forum - WKs have a hand parking brake (unless Australian models were set up different )
