Put on some Grabbers A/T2's

Only had the jeep 3 weeks and I already put on a set of 245/70R17 General Grabbers A/T2's. What a difference.

The jeep came with a set of Toyo Open Country H/T tires. What gets me is they put 236/65/r17 on when 240/70/R17 came stock? WTF

Oh well, going from what came on it to the new ones made the difference all more greater.

Looks much better. You should do well with those as run them on the XJ.

They give load ratings but not ply ratings. http://www.generaltire.com/tires/Grabber-ATsup2-sup

Look great. I want to get them but I'm worried about noise. Are they loud or pretty quiet?

They will be slightly louder than stock... but don't worry, its nothing that will drone out the cabin or anything like that. I was concerned about the noise as well but after a week of driving i didn't even notice it anymore. More importantly anyone that's driven in my WK has never once said anything about them until i pointed it out and turned off the radio
