Question about lifting 07 WK

So, I've been reading other threads and have not seen anything about whether putting a 2-2.25" lift on a WK would require any mods to the drive shaft. Is there a breakover point when drive shafts in front or rear would need to be lengthened?

Re: Question about lifting 07 WK

No mods necessary for a 2" lift. Only when you step up to larger tires is when you'll encounter some rubbing issues.

Two words of advice would be to swap out the struts/shocks while everyhing is apart. It will save you the trouble down the line once your stockers need replacing AND have a fresh can of PB blaster handy the day of the install.

Re: Question about lifting 07 WK

Thanks for the help. I don't think it's a matter of if - but as far as when. That's the million dollar question. Figured in the mean time I would find out everything I can about the mod before I pull the trigger and go for it.
