Just replaced the OEM front swaybar on my '08 Overland with a new SRT unit from JustForJeeps and what a difference it made! Aside from the usual rusted bolts, install was a snap.
Now I've turned my attention to the rear bar, and am getting ready to install an ADDCO to replace the pencil-thin OEM bar. I've read through multiple threads, including the very informative DIY by jahkneefive, grabbed the appropriate tools and got started.
I was surprised to find that my rear swaybar end links are different than described by others.... The link bolts into the unibody up top as expected, but at the swaybar connection, the "bolt" doesn't have a head, resembling a TRE. Using an 18mm wrench, I discovered the "bolt" just spins.
What's the deal here? I will likely just use a clamp of some sort to load the threaded post and remove the nut, but wanted to get some insight from others that have tackled this swap.
