Rubicon Wheels?

I know that everyone asks this question and I did do some searching, I just want too be sure before I buy these. I have a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. Found some JK Rubicon Rims w/ BF Goodrich MT for $700 is that a good deal?
They are a little scraped up, but nothing serious. Anyway from what I understand from reading other forums is that I do NOT need a lift for these too fit, just wheel spacers for clearing the calipers? Is this correct? and what size and brand spacer is the best?
Thank you guys!!

Re: Rubicon Wheels?

What size are the tires? 255/75/17? If they're that size and good shape then I'd say that's a good deal. But if they are that size you'll need a lift.

Re: Rubicon Wheels?

i got 5 Moabs with tires for $250. All 5 rims were mint and the tires were basically no good. But then again i only bought these for the rims... and its funny cause i was still able to turn around and sell the 5 tires for $60 and the 5th rim for another $60

Search your local Craigslist, those JK guys are ALWAYS looking to unload those rims/tires for cheap.

$700 sounds a bit steep, especially if they are scraped up.

Re: Rubicon Wheels?

I just put this same set-up on my 2006 GC. You DO NOT need a lift. I used 1/4" spacers to clear the calipers. They don't rub, and the only time I've had an issue is if I hit a pothole. They are definitely loud though, but it doesn't bother me anymore.
